Mid-term evaluation report: “Strengthening regional and national legislative environments to support the human rights of LGBT people and women and girls affected by HIV and AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa”

A Mid-Term Evaluation report has been released on the “Strengthening Regional and National Legislative Environments to Support the Human Rights of LGBT People and Women and Girls affected by HIV and AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa” project. The project was launched by UNDP Regional Centre for Africa, with the assistance of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), as part of committment to follow up on the recommendations from the Global Commission on HIV and the Law. The Mid-Term Evaluation has been conducted by the Program on Global Health and Human Rights, Institute for Global Health at the University of Southern California, with support from UNDP, to identify the successes and challenges of the project to date, and support the achievement and sustainability of project outcomes
